TEBIS/TEBSASS Equipment, Training and Operations Manual
We leave you fully equipped, trained and capable of operating a TEBIS/TEBSASS within your national regulations after two weeks.
TEBIS/TEBSASS Equipment
- Single balloon envelope with lifting capacity for the camera or
other sensor system you intend to deploy, fitted with dual pressure
relief venting systems, and pressure monitoring sensor.
- Gas regulator, pressure gauge, hoses for filling the balloon
with gas (hydrogen or helium).
- Electric tether winch for launch and recovery of balloon.
- Anchor Weights and Manoeuvre Weights and tethers.
- 800m of double monofilament tether marked in 25m sections.
- Sensor platform and accessories as meets your requirements.
- Sensors to meet your requirements.
- Remote control and remote monitoring equipment to meet your
requirements.
- Batteries and chargers for winch, cameras, transceivers, and
monitors.
- Operations Manual and Log Book, including full Trouble Shooting
Manual for the specific package
- A full suite of licenced software for management and analysis of
imagery.
TEBIS/TEBSASS Training and Operations
- Mandatory Insurance and Optional Insurance quotations
- Training for two members of your staff on safe operations of
the balloon and procedures for downloading information from
camera and/or other sensors and analysis of imagery for the
purposes you specify.
- Air Law Regulations applicable to tethered balloon
operations at heights above the ground specific to each country
(usually 200 feet).
- Proforma letters and attachments to secure permission for
high level operations.
- Operational trials and tests, including high level
operations.
- Recommendations for safe and secure hangarage between
missions, transport of the TEBIS/TEBSASS to work sites, storage and
replenishment of gases.
Advisory, Trouble shooting and
Back-up Service
Ordering and Dispatch
As some equipment has to be ordered in advance we will send our training team
to your location only when all equipment dispatched direct to you has arrived,
and after civil aviation permission has been granted for your trials.
