TEBIS Survey and Inventory Products for Consultant Customers
We can provide the following survey and inventory products:
Single vertical scenes in digital formats
- From 20m* 30m (1 cm resolution) to 800m*1200m (40 cm resolution) in
extent.
- For low level scenes, (typically for ecological sampling
plots, estimation of numbers of invertebrates, crime scene and
accident investigation and records, plant disease outbreak
investigations, property survey), the balloon is double tethered so
that the operator is not in the image.
- Scenes can be rectified as
required by the client.
- Each scene is registered for date and place
by GPS.
- Products delivered as DVD or by other arrangements as
agreed.
Multiple overlapping scenes in digital
formats
- 1cm to 40cm resolution ranges
to cover linear or polygonal sites.
- Scenes can be provided as:
- rectified and
stitched ortho-mozaic photo maps,
- stereo pairs for
plotting,
- auto-plotted as Digital Terrain Models.
- Each scene is
registered for date and place by GPS.
- Products delivered as DVD or
by other arrangements as agreed.
Scaling, projection and overlaying
- Single or multiple scenes can be scaled and converted to any
projection model for overlay onto other maps or imagery to show
changes.
- Products delivered as DVD or by other arrangements as
agreed.
Analysis of single or multiple scenes
- to map vegetation, land
use, drainage and erosion phenomena, rock exposures, infrastructure,
waterways, river bank and bed conditions, coastal features (dunes,
beaches, tidal zones)
- estimate tree numbers and species, timber
volumes, numbers of animals and animal signs, dwellings, vehicles,
boats etc.
- Products delivered as annotated images and Excel Tables
on DVD.
Availability and
Conditions for Provision of Services
- RMR can make these products available anywhere in the world provided
the customer can assist (we can provide all relevant information and
advise on procedure) in securing:
- Civil Aviation permissions if high
level imagery is required,
- temporary entry for RMR personnel and
equipment for countries outside of Europe.
- Customers should calculate
travel from London for one operator or two operators, depending on the
complexity of the work.
- As a rough guide on costs we estimate one operator can capture 500
scenes per day.
- Converting images to usable mosaics or DTM can take
30 days for 500 scenes. Interpretation and analysis of scenes cannot be
estimated in advance.
- The TEBIS or TEBSASS with one operator/analyst is
charged out at $550 per day and with two operator/analysts at $850 per
day.
- Costs of gas, clearances, food and accommodation, transport to the
site from London, are to your account.
